Will question Mirwaiz Umar Farooq if need arises: IGP
Srinagar, July 24: Srinagar, Jul 24: Police on Monday claimed to have arrested 20 accused involved in lynching to death case of DySP who was killed on Shab-e-Qadr outside the historic Jamia Masjid.
According to KNS Correspondent, addressing a press conference here, Inspector General of Police Munir Ahmad khan said that 20 accused involved in the case have been arrested so far while more arrests are expected.
Khan, who was flanked by DIG Central Kashmir Ghulam Hassan Bhat and SSP Srinagar Imtiyaz Ismail, said the investigation in the case going on.
He said that they will question Mirwaiz Umar Farooq as well if need arises. (KNS)
