70 students detained during Baramulla clashes; will be released after counseling: Police

Srinagar, Apr 23: A top police officer on Monday said that they have detained around 70 students in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district who were pelting them with stones.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Baramulla Imtiyaz Hussain said that the students will be released after proper counseling.
Earlier, clashes erupted after the students of govt higher secondary school Baramulla staged protests to demand justice for Kathua minor who was gangraped and murdered in Kathua earlier this year.
