Srinagar, July 25: The twenty-fourth batch of Amarnath pilgrims left the Jammu base camp on Wednesday for the cave shrine in Kashmir Himalayas.
An official said that the batch consisting of 1007 yatris left Bhagwati Nagar camp in two convoys of 30 vehicles.
278 yatris left for Baltal route while 729 left for the traditional Pahalgam route at 5:20 am and 6:05 am respectively.
2,42,165 yatris have visited the cave shrine in Kashmir Himalayas so far.
