New Delhi: The day that all the Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar fans have been waiting for is finally here! ‘2.0’ will be screened at theatres today and fans could not have been more excited for the release. The film has been high on the buzzword ever since it was announced and promises to be a visual extravaganza with enchanting VFX. The film is one of the most expensive films ever made and features Akshay in a negative role while Rajinikanth returns as everybody’s favourite, Chitti the robot.

Finally the Day is HERE
The makers of the 3D film have reportedly spent a whopping 75 million dollars on the VFX which amounts to Rs 543 crores approximately.
Directed by Shankar and bankrolled by Lyca Productions, the film also stars Amy Jackson, Adil Hussain and Sudhanshu Pandey.
The music for the film which was launched at a gala event in Dubai last year has been composed by Oscar Award-winning composer A R Rahman.
