    50 Muslim candidates qualify civil services examination

    Srinagar, Apr 28: In the result declared of civil services examination on Friday, as many as 50 Muslims have cracked the examination.
    Interestingly five Muslim candidates figure in the list of top 100 out of a total of 990 candidates in the list.
    The top-ranked among Muslims is Saad Miya Khan with 25 rank followed by Faz Lul Haseeb (36th rank), an engineering graduate from the Valley.
    Two Muslim women — Jameel Fathima Zeba (62 rank) and Haseen Zehera Rizvi (87 rank)- have also made it to the list of top 100 in the civil services examination.
    The other Mulsim candidates are Azar Zia; Syed Ali Abbas; Moti ur Rahman; Asim Khan; Syed Imran Masood;Muhammad Junaid PP; Ilma Afroz; Hasrat Jasmine; Ejaz Ahmed; Mohmmad Nooh Siddiqui; Shaikh Salman; Junaid Ahmad; Inabat Khaliq; Saddam Navas; Syed Zahed Ali; Furqan Akhtar; Sofia; Mohd Shafiq; Zafar Iqba; Gaush Alam; Haaris Rasheed; Ihjas Aslam C S; Anam Siddiqui; Hasn Safin Mustufaali; Sahila; Muhammed Shabeer K; Irshad C M; Ibson Shah I; Ali Aboobaker T T; Rehana R; Amal N S; Mohammad Nadeemuddin; Harisha B C; Shahid Komath; Shahid Ahmed; Ajmal Shahzad Aliyar Rawther; Imran Ahamad; Bushra Ansari; Afsal Hameed; Sarvaiya Riyazbhai Rafikbhai; Sheeray Fatima; Arshia Jakhu; Amir Bashir; Khalid Hussain; Arif Khan and Mohd Farooq.
    A total of 990 candidates (750 men and 240 women) have been recommended by the Union Public Service Commission for appointment to various Services including Indian Administrative Service, Indian Police Service, and Indian Foreign Service.
