Srinagar, Apr 25: Thousands of people, including women and children, attended the funeral prayers of two slain militants in Tral area of district Pulwama on Wednesday.
Agencies has learnt that multiple-funerals were held for both the slain militants, who have been identified as Ishfaq Ahmad Khan and Abid Maqbool Bharat.
Locals informed agencies that the Ishfaq’s funeral was held at his native village in Pandora area of Tral while Abid’s funeral was held at his native village of Khanigund.
Meanwhile, a complete shutdown is being observed in Tral to mourn the militants killings.
Ishfaq and Abid were killed during a gunfight in Laam area of Tral on Tuesday.
