Azad, Farooq, Mehbooba, others mourn death of Salman Nizami’s father

Srinagar, 27-Oct: Leaders from the J&K (UT), across India and other Journalists, activists have offered their condolences after the death of the Democratic Azad Party’s Senior leader Salman Nizami’s father Mohd Imtiyaz Nizami. Salman Nizami announced the death of his father on Thursday through Twitter and Facebook. His father was 72. According to family sources, the deceased was not keeping well for the last few months. He was laid to rest in Banihal town today. The Namaz e Janaza was attended by hundreds of people at their native village Kharpora in Banihal tehsil. A large number of politicians, activists and prominent persons including DAP Chairman Ghulam Nabi Azad, NC Chief Dr Farooq Abdullah, PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti, BJP Spokesperson Sambit Patra, Khusbu Sundar, Dr Kafeel Khan, Romana Asrar Khan, Zafar Sareshwala, Junaid Azim Mattu, Shashi Tharoor, Alka Lamba, Mahesh Butt, G.M.Saroori, Jugal Kishore, R.S.Chib, Amin Bhatt, Aslam Goni, Zulfkar Choudhary, Usman Majid. BJP’s Darakshan Andarabi, Shahnawaz Hussain, Tanvir Sadiq, Imran Nabi Dar, Tahir Syed & others personally conveyed their condolences to Salman Nizami.
