Hundreds join BJP SC Morcha
Jammu: BJP State SC Morcha held meeting of its state unit under the leadership of its State President Jagdish Bhagat to discuss the upcoming panchayat elections, in the presence of BJP State General Secretary Yudhvir Sethi and former Minister & Prabhari SC Morcha Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal (MLA Samba). BJP State Spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan, State Incharge IT & social Media Jaidev Rajwal were also present in the meeting, marked by the joining of hundreds of prominent persons from SC community.
Yudhvir Sethi, while addressing the meeting, emphasized the role of Morchas in upcoming Panchayat elections in the state. He said that the Morchas serve the purpose of extending the reach of party ideology to the length and breadth of the communities. Welcoming the new entrants, he assured them that they will get full support of organization in carrying out community service.
Dr. Manyal, in his address, appreciated the role of Morcha in the neglected and deprived sections of society. He discussed the strategy to facilitate the smooth conduct of Panchayat elections. He said that the contributions of the likes of Baba Saheb were only recognized by BJP and this is the reason that SC community is joining party in large numbers.
Jagdish Bhagat, enumerated various tasks carried out by the State SC Morcha. He also assured that the dedicated volunteers of SC Morcha will work with full might to secure win of all party supported candidates in Panchayat elections. He also nominated various SC leaders to look after the affairs of the district.
Bishan Lal, Tarsem Lal, Sham Lal, Som Nath, Sohan Lal, Shangara Ram, Tilak Raj, Deep Jandial, Kuldeep Raj, Kuldeep Raj (Ex-Panch), Kalidass, Bikas Bhagat, Ramesh Chander, Ankush Kumar, Deepak Kumar, Chanchala Devi, Shashi Devi, Deepak Kumar, Surinder Kumar and others were among the prominent persons who joined BJP.
During the meeting, Prahlad Bhagat was nominated as the state general secretary of BJP State SC Morcha in addition to Dharminder Kumar.
