Srinagar, Aug 8: The brother of a Hizb ul Mujahideen militant was detained by the government forces in a night raid in Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Family members of Talib Fayaz Parray of Gulshanpora said he was detained by the forces during a raid last night. “He was asked to carry his school bag along with him when we informed the forces that he was scheduled to appear in an exam today,” said a family member.
Talib, a student of 11th standard, is the brother of Hizb ul Mujahideen militant Adfar Fayaz Parrey.
SP Awantipora, Mohammad Zahid Malik told Greater Kashmir that Talib will be allowed to appear in his examination, “but his detention might continue for questioning.”
