    Civilian injured in Pakistan shelling succumbs in Srinagar

    A civilian who was injured in cross-border shelling in north Kashmir’s Uri sector earlier this month succumbed to his injuries in SKIMS Soura in Srinagar.

    Reports said that Reyaz Ahmad Khatana (32) son of Sader Din Khatana, a resident of Batar Kundi Barjala Kamalkote succumbed to his injuries at Srinagar hospital who was injured in cross border shelling earlier this month.

    Khatana was among the four persons who sustained injuries on March 10, in cross border shelling.  Amongst the four people two were shifted to Srinagar and two were locally treated.

    However, Khatana succumbed to injuries at  SKIMS hospital and other three persons are said to be stable now.
