The Clean India Programme under ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’ was organized on the directions of Director, Youth Services & Sports, J&K UT Jenab Gazanfar Ali. The Programme was organized under the supervision of District Youth Services & Sports Officer Jammu Sh. Sukhdev Raj Sharma and Zonal Physical Education Officer Gandhi Nagar, Smt. Chander Kanta Sharma.
On this occasion Sh. Rajiv Saberwal, Station Superintendent, Sh. Dinesh Prashad, ENHM and other prominent Sh. Sanjeev Kumar were present there. With the co-operation of above mentioned Railway Staff alongwith field staff of zone Gandhi Nagar the said Programme became successful.
The Cleanliness Drive at Railway Station organized by zone Gandhi Nagar, who collected the ‘Single Use Plastic’ on Railway Station. The Field Staff of zone Gandhi Nagar awared the passengers and other local people about harmful effects of single use plastic.
ZPEO Gandhi Nagar Smt. Chander Kanta Sharma speaking on the occasion exhort upon all the field staff to keep their institutions and localities plastic free. She also urged them to spread awareness in the society about the harmful effects of single use plastic.
