SRINAGAR,OCT 06:Dozens of PHE daily wagers assembled outside the PHE office in Kupwara and staged a protest to demand release of pending wages. The protesters who were raising anti-government slogans later locked the office in protest. “We have been working in the department for years now, but the government has always turned a deaf ear to our sufferings. Our kids have been expelled from schools as we have not been able to deposit their fee,” said an employee, Abbas Ahmad.
