District Development Commissioner, (DDC ) Kishtwar , Rajinder Singh Tara today reviewed the progress of implementation of Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna (PMJAY) in a meeting at D.C. Office here.
The meeting was attended by Joint Director Planning ,Mohd. Iqbal, CMO Kishtwar, Dr. R.S. Manhas, Dy. CMO, Kishtwar, Dr. Yaqoob, BMOs of Paddar, Chatroo and Dachhan besides concerned officers and officials of health department.
During the meeting, threadbare discussions with regard to awareness, mobilization and identifications of beneficiaries, registration, generation of golden cards and other related issues were held.
The CMO briefed the meeting about the significance of the scheme and informed that around 40 Ayushman Bharat Health and Wellness centres under the scheme are operative in the District. He added that these centres are functioning in an integrated mode with main hospital and other health centres of district.During the meeting DDC Kishtwar took detailed block-wise reviews with regard to the progress of the registration of beneficiaries. He also addressed the issues faced by the CSC operators during the registration of the beneficiaries under the scheme.
DDC directed CMO Kishtwar to register each and every eligible beneficiary of households as well as left out family members under Ayushman Bharat. He emphasized that the benefits of scheme should reach to rural poor patients and also directed the officers for wide publicity of the scheme.
