Srinagar
A dead newborn baby girl was found near the maternity hospital Lal Ded in Srinagar on Monday.
A police official said the newborn girl was already dead when the police reached the spot, the baby girl was found in a small cardboard box near the Town square crossing which near to the Lal Ded hospital.
In this regard, police have registered a case under FIR number and further investigation has been taken up.
Meanwhile, besides politicians, many people associated with the health department have condemned the act and sought the authorities’ intervention in this regard.
