    Four over-ground workers of Jaish-e-Muhammad arrested in Sopore: Police

    Srinagar, June 27: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested four over-ground workers of Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) militant outfit.
    “Acting on specific information, Sopore Police with the assistance of 22 RR 177/BN CRPF and 179/BN CRPF laid a joint naka at Fruitmandi crossing Sopore on Tuesday evening and arrested four OGWs of the JeM outfit,” said a police spokesman.
    He identified the alleged OGWs as Mohd Ayoub Malla, son of Ghulam Hassan Malla, resident of Malgonipora; Fayaz Ahmad War son of Ghulam Mohiudin War resident of Warpora; Javid Ahmad War son of Ab Rehman War resident of Warpora and Maqsood Ahmad war son of Mohd Yousf War resident of Duchanpora Rohama.
    Two UBGLs, two hand grenades and matrix sheets of the JeM outfit were recovered from their possession, he said, adding that an FIR number 174/18 under sections 7/25 arms act and 13 ULA was registered. “Further investigation is going on,” he said.
