Shopian: Security forces Monday morning launched a Cordon and Search Operation in Awend-Rawalpora village of South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Reports said that acting on inputs about the presence of militants in the village, a joint team of government forces including 34 RR, CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir police’s Special Operations Group launched a search operation.
They said that huge contingents of forces have been deployed in the area and door to door search operation is underway.
