21st Nov 2021 , Mr.G.N. Tantray Sr. Vice president of Kickboxing Federation of India (KFI) and President J&K kickboxing Association hold the press meeting with Mr. Fasil Ali General Secretary J&K kickboxing Association and averment the Kickboxing Federation India KFI for irregularities in selection of the players in national and international championship and sending players outside INDIA fraudulently without the consent of respective state unit heads.
Recently an unrecognized invitational championship was conducted in Egypt in which players were selected without completing any selection criteria.
This is very distressing and painful for the upcoming bright young players in the field of kickboxing and such things down the morale of the real talented budding players.
In lieu of such circumstances and for the sake of the future of the players we are hereby resigning from the KFI.
We have made a request to Mr. Abhishek Jain State General Secretary Kickboxing Association J&K (KAJK) , national treasurer and WAKO INDIA board member to merge our association along with our district members in their WAKOINDIA J&K state Unit .
Mr. Abhishek Jain heartily welcomed all the members of J&K kickboxing association and hope doing work jointly together will promote this martial art game at ground level and we will become stronger and surely it will be more productive for all the kickboxing players/athletes of Jammu & Kashmir UT.
Mr. Gorav Chopra Vice president of the association and corporater JMC congratulate both the association and wish them best of luck for future works.
