    Khudwani encounter, Mirwaiz says ‘its operation wipe-out’, appeals UN to intervene

    Srinagar, Apr 11: On the backdrop of the encounter in Khudwani village of Kulgam during which three civilians have died Hurriyat (M) Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Wednesday said that “it’s not operation all out its operation wipe out” launched by the government forces.
    Taking to a social networking site Twitter Mirwaiz wrote “It’s not “operation all out“ but operation wipe out launched by Indian state as 13 year old minor Bilal falls victim to forces bullets after 26 year Sharjeels brutal killing at #Kulgam! Injured at hospitals battling for life and limb with pellets injuries threatening eyesights, houses and shops being blown up by explosives. Appeal UN and international community to step in as situation is dire, (sic).
    The civilians have been identified as Sharjeel Ahmed Sheikh, Bilal Ahmed Tantary and Faisal Illahi.
    Meanwhile, soon after the news of youth killings came into light protests erupt in several parts of Kashmir Valley including in Sopore, Kashmir University and other parts of South Kashmir.
