Srinagar: Non-local labourers who are living and earning in Kashmir Saturday staged a protest demonstration in Srinagar against the mob attacks on Kashmiris outside the valley.
Scores of non-local labourers assembled in press enclave holding placards and banners”Kashmiriyu pa zulm band karo band karo”, “Stop harassment of Kashmiri’s in India”.
Amir Hussain said that these kinds of attacks and harassment to Kashmiri people whether a student, a trader or any other Kahsmiri should be stopped immediately. “I am working in Kashmir for last 25 years. I have never faced any difficulty during these years. The Kashmiri people give us love and affection.”
The protesting non locals requested the governments of all the states to provide protection to all Kashmiris who are studying or doing their business outside the Valley.
