    Normal life resumes in Central Kashmir’s Magam after two days

    Srinagar, June 26: Normal life resumed in Magam town of Central Kashmir’s district Budgam on Tuesday after two days of restrictions imposed by district authorities due to clashes which led several people to sustain injuries on Saturday evening.
    The clashes erupted after the court ruled that the Mosque’s management should be handed over to the local Auqaf committee.
    This decision enraged the Anjuman members who reportedly clashed with the local Auqaf committee members during which many people sustained injuries forced authorities to close down schools and impose restrictions under section 144 – meaning assembly of four or more people at a place should be considered unlawful.
    All the shops, schools, commercial establishments, government and private reopened today. The public and private transport were also back on the roads and there were no restrictions on civilian movement.
