Srinagar, May 26: One person died while another was seriously injured when a truck bearing registration number JK-12-9617 they were travelling in, skidded off the NH-44 and fell in 250 feet deep gorge at Seri in Ramban area in wee hours of Saturday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Mohammed Mansha a resident of Udhampur.
Reports said after getting information about the accident from the passersby, the locals shifted the injured to District Hospital Ramban where doctors declared one person brought dead.
The injured has been referred to Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu for treatment for specialized treatment.
A case has been registered at Police Station Ramban in this regard.
