    Police Register Case Against Departmental Store for Selling ‘Adulterated’ Baby Milk

    Srinagar 14 June: A case has been registered against a departmental store, in central Kashmir Srinagar’s Sanat Nagar area, for allegedly selling a sub-standard/adulterated baby milk.

    Srinagar police in a tweet said that a case was registered against 7/11 departmental store, Sanat Nagar for selling substandard/adulterated milk for babies, which led to deterioration of the health of a baby.

    After receiving a complaint in this regard, an FIR no 48/23 was registered in Sadar police station under sections of 273, 274, 275, 276, 420 of IPC, they said.

    It was further said that an investigation has been taken up into the matter.

    “Case registered against 7/11 department store, sanatnagar for selling sub standard / adulterated milk for baby leading to deterioration of the health of baby. FIR no 48/23 under sections 273,274,275,276,420 of IPC registered in Sadar PS & investigation has started,” tweeted Srinagar police.
