    Srinagar, June 23: Claiming that a number of political appointees to various
    organisations and bodies are still to come to terms with the demise of the coalition government, former J&K chief minister Omar Abdullah said they are clinging on to their chairs but at who’s pleasure are they serving now that their CM has resigned.
    “A number of political appointees to various organisations and bodies are still to come to terms with the demise of the coalition government.
    They are clinging on to their chairs but at who’s pleasure are they serving now that their CM has resigned?” Mr Abdullah, who is the vice-president of National Conference (NC), wrote on micro-blogging site twitter.

    PDP president Mehbooba Mufti on Tuesday tendered her resignation as the chief minister after BJP pulled out support from the coalition government in Jammu and Kashmir.
    Governor’s rule was imposed in the state on Wednesday.
