    Sanjay Saraf demands restoration of temple land

    Srinagar,11-May; Rashtriya Lok Jan Shakti Party General Secretary Sanjay Saraf once again reiterated that the land of the temples should be restored.
    Addressing a press conference in Srinagar, Saraf said that according to research roughly estimate in the year 1988-89, the temples Lands in the valley was 2 thousand Crores approximately and with passage of time it has noticeably vanished in thin air reducing the land size to a very small amount. He questioned and urged the administration and the Lt. Governor to investigate immediately into matter and bring out the people who sold this land and the land records should be brought out to bring justice to the issue. He said that this land needs to be restored, and it should be given back to the temples.Saraf also urged to the Lt.Governor Sahib to form a committe of minimum 15 to 20 members from community on the basis of Gurudwara Prabandhak community till temple bill is passed in the assembly/Parliament.
    Saraf, also raised objection and his concerns about the matter of leasing the land of Durga Nag Trust Sonawar to Paras Hospital, he highlighted that the lease deed was given to Amla Family in 1999 and subsequently in 2010 Amla and Tramboo family forming a company that directly subleased the temple land to the Paras Hospital group. He said Under the Supervision of Divisional commissioner of Kashmir or District Development Commissioner Srinagar, the lands and properties given on lease by the Durga Nag Trust should be investigated and a new direct lease should be formed between Durga Nag Trust and Paras Hospital that eventually will serve the common people and also protect the temple land Other then this lease he also specified that Durga Nag Trust has leased the temple land to many other business centers that needs a thorow investigation.
    RLJP national spokesman said that it should be investigated that this land Saraf said that if it is in fact correct that the Trust should lease it directly to Paras Hospital and eliminate the role of the middle man, as lease land cannot be sub-leased.
    He said that for the first time the trust lands have been given to a sector where there will be human welfare and improvement. Saraf demanded that 15 to 20 % reservation should be given to the common minority community holding the temple land while the majority class should also be given priority. He said that the people of the valley have to face a lot of difficulties in the hospitals in other states, and such institutions and hospitals will help people not to stumble from door to door for treatment and Health care .
    Terming the holding of G20 in the Valley as an effort to take the next step, Sanjay Saraf said that due to this, employment opportunities will be created in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that tourism will be promoted and tourists from foreign countries will come to Kashmir, due to which the economy of Jammu and Kashmir will also be strong and stable.
    While demanding the increase in Ration quota, Saraf said that there is no Ration quota in Jammu and Kashmir, as a result of which people are facing hardships. He also appealed to the central government to Revise the decision of Ration , Speaking on the re-establishment of the old bus stand in Batmaloo area of the city, Saraf said that the administration should decide what is in the overall interest of the people, but care should also be taken that no one’s employment is affected. Asif Ganai UT President, Anita Chandpuri, National Vice President for Women Wing, Senior Vice President Ejaz Ahmad Sofi, Spokesperson Akeela Ji ,Faizal National Secretary Youth wing and other leaders were also present in the press conference.
