Bhadarwah,26-Nov:On the occasion of 75th NCC day of raising first NCC Unit, SD and SW NCC unit of GDC Bhaderwah organsed blood donation camp in GDC Bhaderwah in collaboration with Red Ribbon club NSS unit and sub district hospital Bhaderwah.
The camp was organised under the aegies of Dr kuldeep kumar Sharma principal of the college and guidance of Col Mohit Sharma CO 2JK independent coy NCC Bhaderwah under the supervision of Lt Prithvi Raj associate NCC officer of the college. In this camp 25SD and 5 SW cadets along with ANO Prithvi Raj donated blood during the camp.
Speaking on the occasion, Lt Prithvi Raj , on his 5th blood donation said, “we cannot give life to someone but by donating blood we can save life of some one so we should donate blood at least once in our life”.
He also congratulated all the cadets who donated blood on the occasion and encouraged others for this noble cause.
Others who were present on the occasion included Dr Sandeep kotwal, Convener RRC, Dr Ajay medical officer from SDH Bhaderwah, liaqat Ali Zargar PSW and Karanjeet Singh lab technician from GMC doda.
Lt Prithvi Raj in his address thanked Dr Yaqoob Mir CMO Doda for extending their support for organising the blood donation camp. He further thanked NSS unit and RRC for their support.
