Rajouri, Aug 3: Seven persons were injured after two vehicles suffered a head-on collision in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.
A police official said that the collision took place between a passenger cab and a JCB in Siot area on Jammu-Rajouri highway around 4:30 pm, resulting in injuries to seven persons.
The injured were identified as Mohd Farooq, resident of Dalogi Himachal Pardesh, Mohd Rashid resident of Poonch, Akhter Ahmed resident of Poonch, Mumtaz Ahmed resident of Poonch, Tanveer Hussain resident of Poonch, Driver Daljit Singh resident of Simbal Camp Jammu and Rakesh Kumar resident of Himachal Pradesh.
The injured were shifted to sub-district hospital Sunderbani for treatment, said the official.
