Srinagar, Nov 19: Nishat Cricket league commenced on Sunday.
The tournament was inaugrated by Station House Officer (SHO), police station, Nishat Inspector Shri Mohammad Ayoub Rather.
12 teams are participating in the league.
In the inaugural event large number of youths and local people participated.
Speaking on the occasion, SHO highlighted the importance of sports in day-to-day life.
He said that such events nourish the sports talent and development of team spirit among the youth.
