Jammu,,27-0ct; An extra ordinary session of J&K National Trade Union Front working committee was held today in union office Jammu where all the heads of different associations, unions and districts, Tehsils participated and deliberated on all the important issues of working class of the state. After thread-bare debate and discussion, the working committee decided to hold a Convention under the banner of J&K National Trade Union Front on 20th November 2022 (Sunday) where leadership of all the departments beside districts, tehsils of JKUT including needbase casual labours united front will participate the convention and put forth their burning issues in the day long convention of working class of J&K.
While addressing the working committee meeting Mohammad Gafoor Dar, President JKNTUF urged upon the Lt. Governors administration to settle the burning issue of casual labours numbering more than 60000 who are working in J& K for more than two decades delivering their essential duties in public health engineering and PDD beside others.
The working committee also nominated Rajinder Kumar as working President JKNTUF and Bhanu Partap Singh as Vice President JKNTUF. Some other portfolios will be filled up in the convention on 20th November 2022. The other office bearers will remain the same as elected in the last conference of 2017.
Mohhamad Gafoor Dar, President JKNTUF, Rajinder Kumar, Working President, Nazir Ahmed Molvi, General Secretary, Bhanu Partap Singh, Vice President, Karan Singh, Raj Singh, Ramesh Singh, Barkat Ali, Yash Pal and Vijay Kumar jointly appealed to the rank and file of JKNTUF and general employees and casual labours of various departments of UT to participate the convention on 20th November 2022 at Jammu where the next course of action will be announced.(CNS)
