Tral, June 22: A complete shutdown is being observed on the third consecutive day on Friday in south Kashmir’s Tral township of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district against the killing of three Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) militants.
All shops, business establishments, government and private offices remained closed while public transport was off the roads.
Three militants, including a non-local, were killed during a gun battle with government forces at Nazneenpora hamlet in Tral on Tuesday.
An eyewitness said that scores of people from different areas reached Pinglish and Midoora to offer condolences and prayers for slain militants, Danish Khaliq Dar and Adil Akram Lone.
