Srinagar, Apr 24: Two persons were injured on Tuesday morning after their vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a Jhelum river at Arunbowa Boniyar in Uri town of north Kashmir’s Baramullah district.

The injured driver and a conductor identified as Mahmood Ahmed Awan, son of Mohammad Ayoub Awan and Muneer Ahmed Pathan, son of Mohammad Ashraf Pathan, both residents of Dardkote Uri, were injured after their vehicle fell into a Jhelum river in Arunbowa Boniyar Uri.
However, an official from Primary Health Centre Boniyar said that the injured duo was first shifted to PHC Boniyar and then referred to district Hospital Baramulla for the specialised treatment.
